Meet Salim
Teaching Swimming as a performance art, Salim has been swimming since 1967, competing since 1970 and formally coaching since 1998. He teaches novices all the way through to Olympians, at any age both indoor and in open water. He focuses on body alignment in the water and demonstrates how swimming can enhance fitness and your mind.
Experienced swim and fitness tuition
Run by experienced swim instructor and open water coach, Salim Ahmed has developed a custom 7-point methodology that is used by top swimmers. Begin to appreciate why swimming is arguably the best form of exercise for body, mind, and soul.
Swim longer, further, and faster
“It’s one of the only sports you can continue to improve at throughout your life, from age nine through to ninety. The swim break is designed to help people connect with the water, to swim longer, further and faster, and most importantly of all, to fall in love with swimming again.”
Indoor & outdoor swimming
Salim’s programme uses the same theory and methodology used by some of the world’s top swimmers. Learn how to swim strongly, efficiently and confidently in all types of water. You will be given guidance on how to take your new found skills and continue to develop them when you get home.
Geared mainly around front crawl, the break is tailored to each individual and is suitable for all ages and abilities (except complete beginners/non-swimmers).
Inspiring location
"The surroundings here are so inspiring, and we take full advantage, whether it’s wild swimming on the beach or walking on the coast path. By the end of the weekend, I guarantee you’ll be a better swimmer – and be passionate about continuing your swimming journey.”
