Silent Disco Yoga
Silent Disco Yoga returns to Watergate Bay beach every summer.
Organised through Oceanflow Yoga and the Silent Disco Yoga team, the event sees over 170 people gather to take part.
Read on to find out how it works and watch a time-lapse of the 2021 event.
How it works
The lead instructor talks through the moves so you can follow along with custom-made headphones against a backdrop of chilled tunes and ambient beats. For visual guidance, several instructors are based at the front for reference. It's suitable for all abilities, but if you are feeling particularly flexible challenging variations are always offered. It's a very special atmosphere as so many people flow through the different poses together and the ideal opportunity for some post-yoga dinner.
